Services

We diagnose a wide range of behavioral and learning concerns and will provide a thorough evaluation of your child’s cognitive functioning.  Our assessments evaluate the following:
  • Intellectual ability (verbal versus visual reasoning)
  • Processing speed
  • Working memory
  • Attention
  • Verbal and nonverbal memory (short-term and long-term)
  • Fine motor skills
  • Social cognition
  • Emotional state
  • Personality

Following the assessment, we create a recommended action plan to help your child thrive. We will meet with your family to discuss the results and recommendations for the school and refer you to area specialists who can address your child’s unique developmental needs.

With our comprehensive assessment, parents, teachers, and other professionals working with your child (such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, pediatricians, and neurologists) get the critical information they need to build on your child’s strengths, adapt teaching methods, and uncover the best ways for your child to take on challenging situations.

When requested, we can also become part of the school Individual Education Program (IEP) process, helping you and your child’s educational team develop a custom learning strategy.
